Description

Zirconomer Improved reinforced Glass Ionomer with special zirconia fillers defines a new class of restorative that promises the strength and durability of amalgam with the protective benefits of glass ionomer while completely eliminating the hazards of mercury while proviing sustained fluoride protection. Ideal for a range of restorations including permanent posterior restorative in patients with high risk as well as cases requiring strong structural cores and bases.

INDICATIONS

  • Class I and II cavities in deciduous teeth
  • Class I and II restoration in selected permanent teeth
  • Repair of amalgam restored teeth when either tooth or restoration has fractured
  • In all classes of cavities where radiopacity is a prime requirement
  • Core build-up
  • Repair of crown margins

Direction To Use:

– Prepare tooth by removing decay and cleaning thoroughly.
– Follow mixing instructions for Shofu Zirconomer Improved powder and liquid.
– Quickly place mixed material into prepared cavity.
– Condense material evenly within cavity to avoid overfilling.
– Finish and polish restoration once material has set.
– Avoid over-polishing to maintain material strength and wear resistance.
