Description
AZ Primer is a priming agent designed to treat the surfaces of alumina-based or zirconia-based restorations to enhance bond to resin materials. AZ Primer can be used intraorally and extraorally. A unique innovation specifically created to provide a stable and dependable bond with all-ceramic zirconia and alumina restorations. The novel 6-MPHA monomers in Shofu AZ Primer secure permanent anchorage to the all ceramic bonding surface and ensure long-term clinical success. The 6-MHPA monomer, specially adapted for high-performance porcelains, anchors itself permanently to the restoration and thus is superior to other bonding systems, especially “all-in-one” products.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
- Bonding resin to alumina or zirconia restorations
- Cementation of restoration with adhesive resin cement
- Repair of fractured restorations using composite resin

Direction To UseÂ
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
– For extraoral use, sandblast the adhesive surface of zirconia or alumina restoration with 50-100 ÎĽm aluminum oxide at 0.2-0.3 MPa, then ultrasonically clean and dry.
– Intraorally, roughen the surface with a dental abrasive, rinse, and dry.
– Apply AZ Primer evenly, let sit for 10 sec, and air dry.
– Bond resin material per product instructions.
Notes :
– Do not combine with other primers or bonding systems.
– Seal the cap tightly after each use due to volatile components.
– Utilize all dispensed material promptly.
– Employ a saliva ejector or suction during procedures.
– Prevent contamination of the restoration surface.
– If contamination occurs, clean with alcohol, then dry and reapply.
– Use all dispensed material on one patient only.
– Avoid reusing disposable brushes to prevent cross-contamination.
