Description

Voco Ionofil Molar, a radiopaque glass ionomer cement, excels in restorative dentistry with exceptional enamel and dentine adhesion. Offering continuous fluoride ion release, it ensures long-term dental health. Versatile for V-shaped defects, root erosions, and deciduous teeth (class I). Ideal for non-occlusal class II cavities, tunnel preparations, core build-ups, and linings. Prioritizing precision and user-friendliness, it boasts an efficient mixing process, achieving a packable consistency in under a minute. With a setting time of 2-3 minutes, a rubber dam or protective varnish is recommended to mitigate humidity susceptibility.

• Restoration of V-shaped defects and cervical enamel or root erosions including class V cavities
• Restoration of deciduous teeth (especially class I)
• Fillings of class II cavities (not occlusion-bearing) by means of tunnel preparation
• Build-up fillings and linings, core build-up
• Temporary long-term treatment of class I and II cavities

Direction To Use:

Preparation: Clean cavity using 3% hydrogen peroxide, rinse, and dry. For thin dentine, use calcium hydroxide. Aim for a filling thickness above 1mm.

Mixing Powder/Liquid: Shake well. Mix one powder scoop with one liquid drop (4:1 ratio). Avoid humidity contact during mixing.

Application: Apply Voco Ionofil Molar promptly. Keep dry; use a rubber dam. Finish linings after 4-6 minutes.

Finishing and Polishing: Polish with discs after 7 minutes, cover with varnish.

Storage: Close containers, store at 15-23°C, protect from light. Do not use after expiry.
