Description
Micron Superior capsule is a capsulated, prefilled, radiopaque Glass lonomer Cement for restoration of primary teeth, core build up, restoration of class III, V and limited class I cavities.
Sustained release and recharge of fluoride ions provides an anticariogenic property. Accurate powder/ liquid ratio ensues a homogenous mix, resulting in optimal physical properties.
Direction To Use
1. Prepare tooth with standard techniques; extensive mechanical retention unnecessary.
2. Wash and dry, avoiding desiccation; use Micron Dentin Conditioner for smear layer removal.
3. Tap capsule to loosen powder; activate by pushing plunger.
4. Immediately place activated capsule in mixer for 10 seconds.
5. Attach nozzle and load onto Capsule Applier.
6. Click trigger until glass ionomer paste appears.
7. Extrude cement into cavity, preventing air entrapment. Higher temperatures shorten working time.
8. Form contour; working time is 1:30 minutes at 23°C (73.4°F). Net setting time is 2:00 to 2:20 minutes.
