Prevest Zinc F +

Description

Zinc F+ is a zinc phosphate cement suitable for the cementation of crowns, bridges, inlays facings and orthodontic brackets. May also be used for cavity lining under all restorative materials, temporary fillings and fillings in deciduous teeth.

Zinc F+ is a zinc phosphate cement which has universal application for crowns and bridges and as a liner/core or base material. Zinc F+ offers an extremely accurate fit with very high mechanical strength.

Direction To Use 

– Shake Powder jar before use.
– Dispense 2 spoons of powder and 5-6 drops of liquid on a cool glass slab.
– Mix in small fractions to manage heat during the exothermic reaction.
– Add powder gradually for desired consistency (1/8 or 1/4 recommended).
– Mix for 45-60 seconds for a smooth paste.
– Thoroughly rinse and air-dry the tooth surface.
– Thinly apply Zinc F+ to tooth and metal surfaces.
– Allow 3:00-3:10 for optimal bond strength while compressing surfaces.
– Advise patients to bite hard on a cotton ball without periodic relaxation to remove excess cement, reduce film thickness, and improve the bond.

The technical data for Zinc F+ includes a mixing time of 60-90 seconds, setting time of 3:15 sec (luting) and 3:10 sec (Base), film thickness of 22um, and compressive strength of 105 Mpa.
