- Application: Apply the cement to the prepared tooth surface with a suitable instrument, such as a dental spatula or applicator. Avoid overfilling the cavity or crown preparation.
- Setting: The cement will begin to set within a few minutes of application. It will be fully set in approximately 6-8 minutes. Do not disturb or manipulate the cement during this time.
- Finishing: Once the cement is fully set, trim any excess material with a dental bur or scaler. Polish the surface of the restoration as needed.
- Post-operative care: Advise the patient to avoid chewing on the restored tooth for at least 24 hours. Provide appropriate post-operative instructions for oral hygiene and follow-up care.
